My mom came to Charlotte for a visit last week. It was SO much fun. At first Zoe was unsure what to think about this person who kept following us around but by the end of the visit she couldn't get enough of her grandma. We took tons of pictures and I couldn't decide which ones to share with you...so I posted them all!
We started the visit by spending the weekend with Lisa and Megan in South Carolina. This is at Red Robin (YUMMM). Zoe tasted her first chocolate milkshake here (thanks to Grandma sneaking her spoonfulls when Mike and I weren't looking!).
I think this was sweet potatoes (which Zoe loves!). Zoe has been learning how to self feed with the spoon. She was so messy that I even had to clean Lisa's bathtub after Zoe's bath.
Zoe and me!
New family picture. I love it!
The girls (we were dressed up for church).
We had the couch cushions on the floor and Zoe loved sitting on them. She sat there with her hands on her knees like she was a big shot. It was so cute. And yes, Zoe has one pink and one purple sock on. I gave up looking through the suitcase for a match.

Back in Charlotte! This was at the play area in the Carolinas Place Mall. Zoe was watching all the other kids ride these things so I put her in the race car. She loved it!--until I turned it on and it started moving around. Then she was scared. I think she's still a little to young for those rides. :)
Zoe and Grandma.
Zoe is standing! Just kidding, I have my hand on her back. She loves to stand and is getting really good at it. She isn't too interested in taking steps yet (and still hasn't crawled) but she LOVES to bounce up and down.
Our little cutie pie.
This is at Imaginon. It's a children's theater and library downtown. Zoe loved it (so did my mom and I!). There were toys, books, and other kids! Mike took a break from work to have lunch with us downtown this day. It was so much fun.
Still at Imaginon. There is a free trolley that you can take to get around downtown. It's what Mike takes to work. It kind of looks like this, only the real one is red. Zoe and I are pretending to ride in it.
This is outside Imaginon. These are huge keys to a typewriter. They also have a huge ear, pencils, and stamps. It's pretty cool.
Hi!
Zoe, Grandma, and the Zebra getting some snuggle time in.
This is at the park. Zoe is too small for the 'baby' swings but luckily this park has a handicap one that has good buckles. It's just right for Zoe and she LOVES it.
Zoe loves to watch water fountains. This is at Southpark Mall. We sat there for about 10 minutes while Zoe watch the neat fountains.
Zoe and Grandma at the water fountain.
One reason Zoe loves her grandma so much is because grandma gives her cookies! Ahhh! Mike and I had not given Zoe any sweets (besides fruit) before my mom came. I guess that's what Grandma's are for, right? My grandparents used to have really good treats when I would visit (they still do).
Brush that sugar off your teeth!
i don't know who is the cutest in that top photo. all of you are so beautiful!
