Six Flags Over Texas

Last Tuesday Mike, Lisa, Zoe, and I spent the day at Six Flags Over Texas. It was SOOO much fun! It was a perfect day. It was hot but it rained a little in the middle of the day so that cooled things off. The best thing about the rain is that it sent about half the people home. We never waited in line for a ride (partly because it wasn't super busy and also because we had Flash Passes that got us on to the rides before the rest of the crowd--suweet). The only problem with being able to get onto rides so quickly is that our stomachs didn't get a break. By the end of the day we were all looking a little green (except Zoe, she handled the merry-go-round pretty well).

Here are some pictures and videos of the day:

We just got to the park--here we go!

Zoe was having a great time. She had toys, snacks, and lots of people to watch.

Lisa and me right before going on the Batman ride. This was our first ride of the day.

We ate lunch at Johnny Rockets while it rained. YUM.

Zoe is getting ready for a nap. As long as she has her bunny to suck on and cuddle with she's good to go.

Taking a quick break to watch the big splash (and hopefully feel the mist a little).

Lisa and me getting buckled in for the Superman ride (this is my favorite).

This is a video of Lisa and me on the Superman ride. You can't hear it on the video but we were screaming all the way up and down. My throat hurt so bad afterwards!

After the Superman ride.

Zoe and me on the merry-go-round. She LOVED it. She stood on my lap the entire time and waved at the people watching.

After spending 7 hours at Six Flags we finally made it home--and we were locked out! OH MY GOODNESS. We didn't have the correct house key with us. So here are some videos that Lisa took while we hung out in the back of the car waiting for the emergency maintenance guy to come let us in (this "emergency" maintenance guy lived 30 minutes away!).

Trying to get Zoe to say Hi Daddy.

Touchdown! (Mike taught Zoe how to do this)
