15 Months Old

Zoe is 15 months old today! She seems to be going through a growth spurt, we'll find out for sure this week when she goes in for her 15 month check up. We have been adding an ounce of heavy cream to Zoe's milk and this weekend I started adding some whipped cream also. I've noticed that Zoe is drinking more of the milk with the whipped cream, I think she likes the added sweetness. We'll see if it helps. A challenge with adding lots of calories to Zoe's diet is trying to find a balance between that and also teaching Zoe healthy eating habits. Thank goodness she LOVES fruits and vegetables. In fact, there are many times when she won't eat anything except those.

Zoe seems to be learning at lightening speed. She thinks it's so fun to repeat any word or sound we say to her. The funnest so far is watching her try to flick her tongue in and out like a lizard. Also, my mom will be happy to know that Zoe has started to say 'bamma' this week. I'm sure 'bampa' will come soon and Nana can't be far behind (don't worry Lynn, we're working on that too!).

Today during sacrament meeting Mike had to take Zoe out into the hall because she and another little boy were talking back and forth to each other (very loudly) from across the room. It was kind of funny to us....probably annoying to every body else.
