On Saturday September 27th we went to the annual Greek Food Festival here in Dallas, since Mike has Greek ancestry from his Dad's side of the family. It was a lot of fun! One of the main reasons we went was to find some Finikia (Greek Christmas honey cookies) to buy. It's Mike's favortie cookie. Oh yeah, they're good. We found them...and we ate them. Zoe LOVED them (a good excuse to buy more)! She would push us out of the way to get to them!
I'm trying some Baklava. We had just finished watching a cooking demo of how to make the it. Yum.
Zoe is thinking about trying some of the Baklava. She wouldn't taste it though. I think it's because she knew we were going to get some Finikia later on. She was saving room.
Mike and Zoe watching some people dancing to the awesome live music they had there.
Zoe and I are trying on each other's sunglasses.

After watching the dancers for about 5 minutes, Zoe started dancing herself. It was SO cute.
P.S. I should add that Finikia is also spelled Fenekia and is also known as Melokakaronia Me Smigdali in case you're looking up a recipe.
Baklava...yum!
