Sleeping Beauty

Zoe has been feeling a little under the weather the past few days. It hasn't been anything too bad. Just a little stuffiness and a runny nose. Well yesterday Zoe was acting like she didn't feel very well and was just kind of mellow all morning. Then during lunch she ate about half her food and was acting more silly and normal. After a while I noticed it had gotten really quiet and realized Zoe had fallen asleep right there in her high chair. Before this, Zoe has never fallen asleep outside of her crib, carseat, swing, or being rocked. She's not the kind of kid who will just lay down on the floor and fall asleep. Poor thing! She must have been so tired. So, I cleaned her up and laid her down (we have her sleeping in her old rear facing car seat right now to help with the drainage) and she ended up napping for about three and a half hours. Wow!

She was so tired that she even changed positions in the highchair without waking herself up.
