Birthday Party Play Date

My friends informed me that they had never heard of a birthday party play date. Neither had I...until I decided to have one! Instead of trying to fit 25 people into our townhome, Mike and I decided to have two birthday parties for Zoe. One with family and one with her friends (see two posts ago for the family party highlights). The only problem is that I couldn't come up with a Friday night or Saturday when all the friends could come so I decided to have the friend party during the day on Friday. Mike kindly informed me that the Dads wouldn't mind at all if they couldn't come. :)
