Mobile Dairy Classroom

This summer is going to be great.

Today kicked off one of many fun and exciting activities going on at our local library this summer. The mobile dairy classroom came. It was pretty cool. There was a trailer parked outside the library with a cow in it. We all got to sit and learn what happens to milk from the time it is taken from the cow to the time it gets put on the store shelf. And the best part was when we got to see the cow get milked by hand and then with a machine. Pretty cool stuff. Zoe was a little interested in the cow and milk but was mostly interested in all the airplanes and helicopters that flew over us.

Zoe saw an airplane right as I snapped the picture.

Here's the mobile classroom.

Next on the agenda: A Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey clown is going to visit the library next week!

  1. That's such a fun thing! Is that new? I don't remember hearing about that last year. Can you believe it's been a whole year since we were in Dallas?
