McKinney Christmas Festival

Adam and Jen (my brother and his wife) came up the weekend after Thanksgiving. We had SO much fun hanging with them! There was a Christmas festival in downtown McKinney that weekend so we decided to check it out. It was pretty fun! We especially liked the kettle corn and the hamburgers and the chicken fingers and the corn dogs and the potato flower thingy and the lemonade. Yeah, we ate a lot. Zoe's favorite part was the big train that an elf drove around with a real life snow man in it. She kind of wanted to ride the train but we adults didn't think it was worth waiting in the LONG line so we convinced her to watch instead of ride. She LOVES snowmen so she was cool with watching and waving to it. Zoe also had lots of fun on the merry-go-round:

I feel like I should explain the face I made at the end of this video. I wasn't burping. I was feeling motion sickness. Luckily the ride ended soon after that and I was fine. Going around and around isn't circles isn't really my thing.

  2. I know! It's sad but true. I get motion sickness on a swing too. Anything back and forth, in circles, or cars.

  3. I LOVE kettle corn! I also love that it's bright and sunny and you aren't wearing coats at a Christmas festival. :)

Do you take anything for your motion sickness? I feel like the older I get, the more sensitive I am. (Although, I've never gotten sick on swings, but maybe a merry-go-round.) :)

  4. Must be a Ferguson thing. I am with you. The merry-go-rounds and swings get me sick. Pushing the kids on the swing gets me sick. The worst ever are the tea cups at Disneyland. I am sick for hours after going on those. It is normally Greg's job to bring the girls on them, but it has been my job for the last year.
