I love everything about this moment with Zoe.
It rained a lot at the beginning of July and on this day there wasn't thunder or lightning. So we grabbed Zoe's rain boots and umbrella and headed outside (Notice the rest of Zoe's outfit? Completely picked out and put on by Zoe :) ). Zoe's umbrella lasted for about 5 minutes, then she threw it on the ground and headed out into the rain. It was so cute and so fun. We walked up and down the sidewalk checking out all the puddles (and by checking out, I mean jumping and splashing in them with squeals of delight).
Zoe is now the hit of the neighborhood. Every person that drove by (about 5) stopped to say hi, waved, or smiled in a "awwwe, that is so cute!" fashion.

That looks like fun! I remember wanting the streets to flood when we were little so we could play in the water. Good times.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect day. I love the video. I'm glad Zoe likes the rain as much as me!
ReplyDeleteFun! We need to play in the rain together.
ReplyDeleteI love having great moments like that! How fun!
ReplyDeletei guess it was the potty dance if you had to cut it short right then...
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what I was thinking Scott :)
ReplyDeleteI love how she turned back and did the "double point" back at you. Something tells me she got that from her dad.
