I'm a grand prize winner!

A few Saturdays ago I went to Luke's Locker to try on some new running shoes. They were having a huge event going on where you could spin a wheel to win a prize, munchies to eat, and they were doing a raffle. So, I spun the wheel and got a coupon for $10 off a pair of shoes. Sweet. Skipped the munchies because once I eat one chocolate covered strawberry, something happens inside of me and I can't stop. I wake up the next day surrounded by strawberry stems and a severe stomach ache......must eat chocolate covered strawberries! After skipping the munchies, I put my name in the raffle and finally tried on some shoes--the shoes were really cool by the way. I tried on the Brooks brand Cascadias shoes; however, I didn't get a pair. Maybe when I become a more serious trail runner.

Anyways, I got an email the next day from the Luke's Locker store manager telling me that I was a grand prize winner! What?! Cool! She said I won a lady's Under Armour coach's bag with stuff in it. I couldn't contain my excitement. Remember that old Mervyn's commercial with the lady standing at the door before the store opened chanting "Open. Open. Open". That was me the next day. And check out what I got! (Mike said I reminded him of when the dad won the leg lamp in Christmas Story)

It's an awesome bag, 6 pairs of female running socks, 2 pairs of male running socks (yessss...they are helping me in my quest to get Mike to start running), and a really cool water bottle.
