Preschool Graduation/End of the Year Party

Zoe had her preschool graduation/end of the year party on May 28th. It was the cutest, funnest party! Mrs. Shannon really is such a great teacher. The program started with the kids singing some songs for us. Of course, Zoe wanted nothing to do with any of it. She didn't sing, didn't dance, and at one point was just standing up there crying. She made it through though. Whew. But then came two plays that the kids put on for us: The Three Little Pigs and Little Red Riding Hood. Knowing that Zoe probably wouldn't want to say her lines, Shannon gave her the smallest part in the play. Sure enough, Zoe didn't say a word. Thank you, Shannon, for being so patient with her! And then each child got an award. Guess what Zoe got?! Look here:

She one the Best Artist award! Go Zoe!

After this part was over the kids had a dancing party. OH. MY. GOODNESS. Zoe finally opened up. As soon as that music started playing she was like a different person. She had SOOOOO much fun and still talks about it. Here is a video of her dancing:

It was such a fun night. We are excited for summer break but really can't wait to go back to school in the fall. Yay!
