And Zoe continues to take the shots like a pro. She very rarely complains about having to do it and the only time she cries is when I do something wrong (sniff), like push the needle in to far for example and it must hit a muscle or something. When this happens I usually will very quickly leave the room and go to another part of the house while Mike comforts Zoe. I still can't handle it very well when I hurt her. But...the shots are working. She is growing and guess what, Zoe is a REALLY good eater. She eats plenty of food and she really tries hard to eat healthy. She knows that good food makes her feel better, grow better, and makes her stay healthy so she will almost always ask me if something is healthy or not and if I say it's not then she won't eat it. It's so great! I feel so lucky that I'm not having to fight her all the time with food choices!
Here are her stats since beginning the growth hormone therapy:
2/5/2010: 21lbs 32.8in
5/5/2010: 22.5lbs 34.1in
8/5/2020: 23lbs 34.9in
11/4/2010: 27lbs 36.1in
2/8/2011: 28lbs 37.3in
5/12/2011: 28.8lbs 38.2in
8/1/2011: 31.8lbs 39.2in
And now....some videos of what Mike and Zoe do when I'm not home:
This one is kind of long...just warning ya.
That girl has some serious energy!
ReplyDeleteUm, yeah, she and Sammy would get along great. They could have a contest to see who gets tired first.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that she is growing so well! What a sweet girl to handle the shots and have be determined to eat well. She's beautiful.
