Mini Mission Reunion

One of Mike's mission presidents (Pres. Townsend) passed away in the middle of December. He was a really great guy and I was lucky enough to meet him because he lived in Austin and his son is in our ward. So he and his wife came to visit a few times. His funeral was on a Saturday in Austin so Mike, Zoe, and I packed our bags and made a weekend vacation of it. Mike was surprised and SO happy to see some of his old mission companions there. They flew in from around the US for it. So nice! These are some pictures that I snapped a little bit after they all saw each other. So cool. Later that evening Zoe and I went back to our hotel and crashed while Mike went out with the guys to catch up. It was really fun for me to meet them and be able to put faces to the people in all of the stories Mike has told me about his mission!
