Meeting Baby Julia Rose and Zoe Lost Her First Tooth

After visiting Lynn and Serge in The Woodlands we came home for one day and then Zoe and I left Mike at home while the two of us headed to my mom's house to meet my new niece, Lisa and Travis' daughter, Julia Rose.  And Oh. My. Goodness. she is a doll!

Zoe getting in some good practice for when her brother comes.

She's a pro already!  And look how cute Julia is.  Sigh.  I love babies.

Lisa, Julia, and Zoe.

Zoe was getting some expert advice from Grandma on what to do with her super loose tooth.  I love this picture so much: Grandma with her three granddaughters.

Zoe checking how just exactly how loose her tooth was.

This is a video of Zoe prepping for getting the tooth pulled.  This went on for about 30 minutes.  Maybe an hour.

Grandma pulled out Zoe's tooth on our last night there!  Zoe was SO excited and SO nervous.  Both my mom and John each offered her a dollar to let my mom pull it out.  But only if Zoe would do it quickly.  Well, it took her about 30 minutes to come up with the courage.  I'm so glad that my mom was there to do it because I just about passed out every time Zoe showed me her tooth.  There is NO WAY I would have pulled it out.  So, here is a video of Zoe getting her tooth pulled out.  I was holding Zoe's hands with my head down and eyes closed.  :)

Here is a note that Zoe left for the tooth fairy (with the tooth fairy's response to her question).  The tooth fairy left Zoe a dollar coin.  How cool!
