Croup, Ear Infections, and Pictures

My sweet little Zoe is sick with a bad cold. She has Croup and a double ear infection. How sad, right? On Sunday all three of us were sniffly and feeling a little under the weather. By Tuesday Mike and I were feeling fine but Zoe's cold got really bad. The was really congested and had a bad runny nose. No big deal. But then last night it turned into something new. She started coughing really bad and sounded like a dog barking and she also sounded hoarse, like she was losing her voice. Poor thing, she was so miserable. So I took her to the doctor today and sure enough she has croup and her ears are so red and have fluid in them. Ugh, I just feel so bad for her. We have her on medicine for all this stuff so hopefully by tomorrow she'll start to feel better.

A couple mornings ago Zoe brought me these socks to put on her (she's still in her pj's), then she brought this one shoe over, then she brought me the necklace. She walked around like this all morning.



Zoe has recently discovered that we have our very own play ground. The porch. I'm glad she thinks it's so fun! It's a quick fix if she's ever getting bored.



While out on the porch she usually stands here staring at this tree. There is almost always a squirrel running in or around it and she loves watching the leaves move in the wind.
