One of Zoe's current favorite things to do it play on our balcony with her sidewalk chalk.
All of my plants died a couple months ago when we had some freezing weather. I really need to throw them out. But in the mean time, Zoe is taking care of them for me. She loves pretending to water the plants and this one particular day she decided to dump the dirt out of the pots. I think she was just clenching her guarantee for a bath.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We were at the mall in the play area on this day. All of a sudden Zoe's head perked up from what she was doing and two seconds later she took off running for this mini merry-go-round. Mike and I have taken her on merry-go-rounds before and she did NOT like them. So I was very shocked when she wanted to go on this one. I think it's less intimidating because it's so small. She loved it so much that she rode it twice in a row.
It is amazing how much pleasure kids can get from those little rides! I also thought Zoe was cute when she was asking you to put water in the water can.

ReplyDeleteI remember when Madyson first discovered sidewalk chalk. To this day she still LOVES it. They'll have to play together! Maybe teach them hopscotch with it?! I like that idea.
