Growth Hormone Update

I spoke with our representative at Norditropin (the growth hormone medicine we're using). We have been approved by our insurance for the Norditropin Nordiflex. The medicine will be shipped to us one month at a time beginning this week. We should get the first shipment today or tomorrow. Now (besides waiting for the medicine to get here) we're waiting for a nurse from Norditropin to contact us to schedule a training appointment. The appointment will be at Zoe's endocrinologist's office and Mike and I will learn how to administer the medicine and we (well, I) will give Zoe her first dosage there. Then we're on our own. Well, not really. Norditropin has a really good support system for any questions or concerns we have. And the staff at the endocrinologist office is great too.

Still nervous.

I'll keep you posted.

  3. Cute picture. You know how people (actually, Mubeen, for example) do pictures the first year of their kids each month next to a stuffed animal or something? I wonder if something like that would be noticable with the growth hormone therapy? Might be interesting to see the changes.
