I was so excited for spring to get here...but look what it brought with it! Seriously, WHAT IS GOING ON? Dallas usually gets one major ice storm during the winter but this is about the 5th snow storm this year. Crazy.
Yesterday was cold and there were even a few snow flurries. During the night I heard thunder and then we woke up to this:
The back yard...6.5 inches.
The front yard...almost 6 inches.
This is behind a big pillar and bushes, I have no idea how snow got here. It must have been REALLY windy.
Once we decided not to risk the icy drive to church Zoe ran into her play room, made a stack of coloring books and got to work.
Mom, remember when you asked us if the rocking chair ever got wet from rain? Well, we've never seen it wet before...I guess it does.
Our berry tree!
View from the office.
I don't know who's foot steps these are. I traced them from the end of the street, through our front yard, to our next door neighbor's fence, to a car in front of their house, back down the street. Hmmmm....
That is crazy! I had no idea you got more snow. I guess I haven't been watching the news. Zoe's probably seen more snow this year than I did before I moved to Utah when I was 18. Crazy.
ReplyDeleteHello Spring!
ReplyDeletewow
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that's crazy. I think I would cry if it snowed here again.
ReplyDeleteSo, you probably will not want to hear that we went swimming today?
ReplyDeleteWow! We definitely didn't get that much snow! Great pics!
ReplyDeleteYou can have it. I don't want it anymore. :)
