Easter

I was beginning to doubt I would ever get these pictures up! But, alas, I finally find a moment to work on the blog. We had a super fun Easter weekend with lots of family! To start the weekend off, we surprised Zoe with an early birthday present. A bounce house! We have been wanting to get something for her to play with in the back yard, like a swing set or something similar. But we're so worried about her falling off and hurting herself. Then Mike had an idea to get her a bounce house. What?! We looked into it and they are surprisingly affordable. So we got one! Zoe L-O-V-E-S it!

Here is a video of Zoe seeing her new bounce house for the first time (this was the Friday before Easter). Sorry, the video is blurry--our camera is dying

On Saturday morning we walked over to the McKinney Easter egg hunt. Here, Zoe is posing in front of the grounds where she will have her Easter egg hunt.

Here is a video of what the grounds looked like before the kids got to them.

They had a petting zoo.

Go, Zoe, Go!

After Zoe's hunt she got to go sit inside a fire truck.

Here she is playing in the grass, content as can be.

Later that night we had a girls/kids night out at my house while all the guys went to the priesthood session of conference and to celebrate Viki's birthday.

Emma and Zoe posing with squishy faces.

Cute cousins.

Emma was pushing Zoe around in her doll stroller. Ha!

After dinner Aunt Rachel helped the cousins decorate Easter eggs.

Zoe drew pictures of people and animals on her eggs.

John and Ally came to visit for the weekend. I'm so disappointed that this is the only picture I took of them!

Easter morning. Zoe was very confused as to how all of her bunnies and lambs (they are usually in her bed with her) got downstairs while she was sleeping.

Checking out what is in the basket.

We had an Easter egg hunt throughout the house. We recorded it all on video but I can't get that to load. So you'll just have to imagine Zoe being cute and running around the house finding eggs.

  1. I showed the bounce house videos to Joe. He wishes that I had loved him enough when he was little to get him his own bounce house. How fun for Zoe!

  3. The bounce house is cool but Zoe's yellow and white polka dot dress is even cooler. I want one just like it.

  4. Fun! Do you have to constantly blow air in to the bounce house or do you put it away at night? How does that work?

  5. I love those things. If you come visit you should bring it.

  6. That picture of Ethan is a flashback of Blake as a kid! I am assuming they are related, but if not, the resemblance is even more surprising :). You guys are such sweet parents. It is obvious you love Zoe so much, and take such wonderful care of her! It was fun catching up on your blog today!
