Time flies when you're having fun!

I have LOT to catch you up on! Don't think for a minute that I haven't posted a blog because I've been lazy. It's because we've been crazy busy having TONS of fun! We have had lots of family come stay with us the past couple of months and we have had a blast. First Lynn (Mike's mom) came for a night, then the day she left Adam and Jen (my brother and sis-in-law) came for a night. Then a couple of weeks later my dad came to visit for a few days. Then this past week my mom, Eddy (her hubby), and my cousin Rebekah all came for a night. Yay! We love having visitors. Who's next?

Besides family visiting, here are some of the other things we've been up to. (Zoe is pretty much the funniest and cutest person I know, therefore I will infuse some of the silly things she's saying and doing these days into this post.)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll start you off with one of my favorites:
Me: "Zoe, you're so silly."
Zoe: "Nope, I'm just cute."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adam and Jen ran a Half Marathon while they were here. This was Adam's very first Half Marathon. They both were amazing! I didn't run the race with them, instead I cheered on ALL the runners. It was SO fun!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One of Zoe favorite words right now is "sure". She says it like "shore" in a very matter of fact, sophisticated way.
.
Me: "Zoe, would you like some Gogurt?" (Gogurt is her FAVORITE food, by the way)
Zoe: "shore"
Me: "Zoe, should we read some books now?"
Zoe: "shore"
You get the picture.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Swimming at Mike's Dad's house. Zoe L-O-V-E-S the pool and could go swimming every single day.

We've been getting opportunities to swim about once or twice a week. Zoe is turning into a fish!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In case you were wondering, potty training is in FULL swing around here. We have Elmo panties, Dora panties, and lots of princess pull-ups. Zoe is doing a great job and stays dry most of the time. She even stay dry during her naps and at night (most of the time)!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

One morning Zoe was watching Sid the Science Kid and they talked about estimation jars (where you guess how many items are in the jar). After the show ended Zoe said she wanted to do an estimation jar. So we made one with animal crackers. Mike, Zoe, and I all made guesses and the winner got to eat all the animal crackers.

Here is Zoe making her guess. She won.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zoe: "Mom, I need to go running."
Me: "Oh really?"
Zoe: "Yeah, let's go get the stroller."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike got himself a hammock for Mother's Day. Yeah, we share holidays around here. I put Zoe to work right away.

Zoe finally got to take a break from pushing and climbed in with Mike.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zoe, walking over to Mike who has the computer on his lap: "Dad, I need to check my email."
(I take it back, THIS is my favorite one)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And last but not least, I think we might have a future Billy Joel on our hands. Don't you agree? :)
