Preschool

We got Zoe into a really cool preschool and we are SO excited about it! This opportunity just kind of fell into my lap and I jumped on it--well, a student moved so a spot opened up. The teacher is certified in elementary education and is CPR certified (that adds a certain level of comfort). She has a daughter Zoe's age, so in an effort to be a stay at home mom and also teach (which she loves), she opened her preschool.

She lives in the area and does the preschool out of her house. I was a little skeptical of this at first so I took Zoe to visit one of the summer school classes in session to check it out. And it seems REALLY awesome. Mrs. Shannon, the teacher, has transformed her entire living room and game room into a preschool. And she runs it just like a school. I'm pretty sure Zoe thought she was in heaven that day. So she's pretty excited about it too.

Check out Mrs. Shannon's blog here.

  3. We had a great experience with an in home preschool with Wes last year. I think it's a great way to transition them to preschool.

  6. All the Zoe updates a great. She is progressing so well in all areas. Increased GH should work. Her new preschool looks great. She is passing every test with flying colors, especially the "cute" test.
