Mike started working last Tuesday. It's very different than when we were in Charlotte. There he could work from home a lot and only needed to go in to the office for face to face meetings. It was really great. Now Mike is physically in the office every week day from 8:00am to 5:00pm. I miss him.
Also, Mike started traveling this week. It'll just be for this rotation (we think). I really, really miss him.
I went to the Gladys Knight and the Saints Unified Voices fireside two Sundays ago. It was so cool. The Spirit was so strong. If any of you get an opportunity to go see it--go. It's a lot of fun.
Here's the biggest update: Zoe started crawling yesterday! For a while now she has been getting up on her knees and just moving one knee forward then finishing up by rolling or scooting. But yesterday I put Zoe across the room, put a cookie in front of me and then she crawled to me! It was so fun.
Zoe eats SO much now that we have her on Periactin. She still doesn't really like bottles but she's tons better at sippy cups and straws so she drinks out of those mostly now. She eats all day long. Her favorite foods right now are yogurt, dried blueberries, apples, and Cheerios. But she'll really eat just about anything. I'm taking her to the doctor this week for a weight check. Now that she's eating pretty normally we have to make sure she's actually gaining weight. She still mostly wears 3-6 month clothes but some of them are finally starting to get a little snug. This is a good sign!
Here are some pictures:
I was talking to Lisa on the phone about a 5K race she and Megan had done that morning. You go girls! Zoe laid by me the whole time chewing on this protein bar. Cutie (Zoe, not me).
Here are a couple of pictures of Zoe in her new high chair.
Zoe LOVES her new crib that her cousin Emma gave to her! It tastes really good.
We finally got Zoe a forward facing stroller but she's so tiny in it! She doesn't care, she loves it.
The focus isn't too great on these but Zoe is showing off her teeth. She has 6 now.
Mike and Zoe.
I took these pictures yesterday. She was so happy, giggly, and silly all day.
Will somebody please get the girl a toothbrush?!
I can't get over how much older Zoe is looking with those teeth! So precious!
ReplyDeleteMy sweet, adorable Zoe.
ReplyDeleteMike, I just noticed Zoe's sippy cup. Did you pick it out?
ReplyDeleteI love her hair down, it's so cute. (i love the tails too)
ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing about Zoe's hair. It looks like so much more when it is down.
