AJ Goes On a Mission

My brother, AJ, left for Ireland and Scotland a couple of months ago to serve a 2 year church mission. Zoe and I were able to make it to my mom's house to be with him when he got set apart and when he left the airport. So exciting!

We had a little hiccup on the way there. My car completely stopped working just outside of Cameron (where my mom lives) but luckily there was a gas station right where it happened so I was able to glide into it. And double luckily, Eddy was home and was able to rescue me. Eddy was my hero that day. It took three jump starts to get the car to my mom's house and then the next morning Hyundai towed it to their nearest location and fixed it (alternator and battery).

As soon as Eddy got my car to the house we all jumped into Mom and Eddy's car to head to AJ's setting apart appointment. Doesn't he look so sharp?! I love this guy!

Hi.

AJ at the airport ready to hit the ground (air?) running. This was one last, quick phone call to Dad.

Waiting to board the plane!

This one is kind of a short, random video of Zoe running around.

Zoe feeding grass to the chickens, roosters, and turkeys.

  2. Yay for AJ! I'm glad you got to be there when he left. And Zoe is so cute.
