Halloween

Happy Halloween!  We had a super fun one this year.  Halloween is Mike's favorite holiday and I'm pretty certain it is quickly becoming one of Zoe's favorites too.  (Mine will always be Christmas!)

The beginnings of Mike's pumpkin.  It's a bat.  It turned out really awesome but I didn't get a picture of it.  Oh well!  That's Zoe's tiny pumpkin next to it.

Zoe went on a field trip (she got to ride a school bus!!!) with the 1st grade to the pumpkin patch.  This is the pumpkin she got to bring home.  She cut it open and dug out the insides when she got home.  She's such a girlie girl!  :)

Boo!  Zoe said she wanted to be a ghost for Halloween.  We showed her a lot of pictures to see what kind of a ghost she wanted to be and she kept coming back to the old fashioned ghost with a sheet.  Mike and I were very happy with that, this costume was about $40 cheaper than any costume we saw at the Halloween stores!

Mike and Zoe went out trick or treating while I stayed home and passed out candy.  Zoe had a lot of fun for about a half hour and then decided she had enough candy and was done.  :)  She came home and counted it and got 54 pieces of candy!  She was SO excited!  She has only eaten 5 pieces so far.  I have no idea who she got the aversion of candy from.  It's DEFINITELY not me or Mike!
